Lucknow: The body of an unidentified girl was recovered on the morning of February 18 near Balipur village under Ghazipur police station area of Fatehpur district of Uttar Pradesh. Looking at the body, it seemed that the girl had died after being crushed to death by a car, but the evidence found by the police at the spot confirmed the murder. A police team was then formed to investigate. The police revealed the incident 20 days later and arrested her boyfriend and boyfriend's brother in connection with the murder of the girl. 

DSP Jafarganj Sanjay Singh informed that on February 18, the body of an unidentified girl was found on the road. After this, Arvind's son Kuwar Lal Nishad, a resident of Gokulpur police station Jehanabad, had identified the girl as his sister on March 3 after seeing the photograph and clothes in the police station. He had lodged a complaint saying that Abhimanyu alias Ajit's son Kamta Thakur, a resident of Gukharahi police station Tindwari district Banda, had killed his sister. During the course of the investigation, the police took Abhimanyu alias Ajit and his brother Amit alias Mukhiya into custody and interrogated them strictly, to which Abhimanyu said, "Five years ago, we met through Facebook. The two had fallen in love. Anita, the deceased, was pressurising her to get married.  

Fed up with the marriage, on February 17, he called to meet him at Tindwari in Banda district and left for Fatehpur at night to talk about the marriage. The girl was crushed to death by a tractor by stopping the tractor near Balipur under Ghazipur police station. They fled with a tractor to make the murder an accident. The girl was studying SSC in the city. The boyfriend and his brother have been arrested and sent to jail.
