Lucknow: A minor student was allegedly raped at a madrasa in Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad district, police said on Sunday. This madrasa operates in Ayesha Mosque. The victim's father has lodged a police complaint against Hafiz of the madrasa. According to the report, accused Hafiz had also asked not to complain, calling it a matter of religion. At present, Hafiz is said to be absconding. The incident took place on Saturday (January 28).
According to the information, this madrasa is in the Ayesha Mosque of Pooja Colony of the Loni police station area. At this place, Hafizi Mamoon teaches Islam to children. A resident of Asala village under Baghpat had enrolled his 12-year-old child in the madrasa six months ago. Since then, the child was living in the madrasa and getting daily education. It is being told that Hafiz Mamoon used to keep a dirty eye on him already.
According to the report, on the night of January 28, Hafiz raped the child. The next day, January 29, the child was not allowed to go out of the madrasa throughout the day. Somehow, on Monday (January 30), the child came out of the madrasa. After receiving a call from a passerby, he told his father about the misdeeds committed by Hafiz. After this, the victim's father reached Ayesha Mosque. It is being told that here he interrogated the accused Hafiz.
On this, Hafiz Mamoon asked him not to complain to anyone about the matter. Hafiz said that this can lead to the closure of the madrasa and it is a matter of religion. However, the victim's father reached the Loni police station and lodged a complaint against Hafiz. A video of the victim's father giving information about Hafiz's misdeeds is also going viral on social media. ACP Loni has said that an FIR has been registered in the case. Police teams have been formed to search for the accused Hafiz.
