Lucknow: A class 6 student was allegedly raped by a school manager in Ghaziabad's Mussoorie police station area, police said on Saturday. After the school was closed, the accused manager would stop the student on some pretext or the other and rape her. Due to the threat of the accused, the student remained silent, but fed up with the manager's actions, she finally told her family everything. Now the student's mother has lodged a complaint.

A case of rape has been registered against the school manager, police said. The accused is absconding and is being searched. The woman, a resident of the Mussoorie police station area, said her 13-year-old daughter studies in 6th standard in a school in Nahal village. The school manager has been raping her daughter for a long time. After the holiday, he used to stop her daughter in school on some pretext or the other and then rape her. The woman says that the school manager had threatened her daughter that if she told anyone, she would have to face the consequences. Due to the threat, her daughter remained silent and continued to be a victim of the school manager's cruelty. It is alleged that when the school manager's actions increased, her daughter told everything to the family.

It is alleged that when the other child asked the victim to go home, the school manager used to say that she would study tuition now. If any other child asked to study tuition, the manager used to drive them away. The name of the accused is Shahadat and he also runs a madrasa, in which he teaches children in Islam. The accused Shahadat used to threaten the victim that if she told anyone, he would kill her siblings and throw them in the canal. SHO Ravindra Chand Pant says that on the complaint of the woman, a case of rape has been registered against the accused Shahadat. As soon as the matter reached the police, the accused manager Shahadat fled. Police are on the lookout for the accused. All his possible hideouts are being raided. He will be arrested soon.
