'Sar Tan Se Juda..,' BJP worker attacked while discussing Nupur Sharma

Lucknow: A BJP worker was fatally attacked in Noida Sector-44 of Uttar Pradesh for discussing about suspended BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma. In fact, while he was talking to friends regarding the attacks on people supporting Nupur Sharma's statement, 12 people from the Muslim community who came from behind fatally attacked him. The injured were immediately admitted to a nearby hospital, where he is undergoing treatment.

The victim, Abhishek Rathore, has informed that he was standing with friends in the market of Noida Sector-44 at 11 pm on Friday. During that time, he was discussing the attacks by fundamentalists on those who supported Nupur Sharma's statement. Meanwhile, his words were heard by the people of the Muslim community standing there and suddenly they broke down on him. After brutally assaulting the BJP worker, they said, 'Sar Tan Se Juda.' Then they ran away from there. There were a total of 12 people who assaulted. Let me tell you that after the alleged controversial statement made by Nupur Sharma about the Prophet, there are reports of one attack after another on her supporters. A few months have passed since the controversy, but even today Nupur Sharma's supporters are being attacked.

Abhishek has told that when the attackers were going back on a bike, they were repeatedly shouting 'Sir Tan Se Juda'. I remember the names of two of those people. Amjad and Rashid. I don't know the other names. Their names are also known because they took these two names at the time of the assault. The victim also accused the police and said that he has filed a report with the police. But, so far, no action has been taken on it.
