Its disclosure will be possible only after the investigation report comes out, but right now both the administration and the state government are in the dock. The administration team had reached here to remove the encroachment. During this, 44-year-old Pramila Dixit and her 19-year-old daughter Neha Dixit were burnt alive due to the fire. After the matter escalated, efforts to suppress it also started. Kanpur Dehat Superintendent of Police (SP) says that both had set themselves on fire. However, even if SP's statement is accepted as true, then why didn't the administrative staff present there tried to save both of them?

Let us inform you that the administration team reached Madauli village under Maitha tehsil of Kanpur Dehat on Monday (February 13) to remove the encroachment. According to the report, the action to remove the illegal encroachment was to be done on the government land. The illegal construction here had to be removed. But, on seeing the team that arrived to remove the encroachment, the woman and daughter imprisoned themselves in the hut. After some time a fire broke out there, in which both were burnt alive. During this, the people present there kept making videos. After this, the atmosphere there became tense. Krishna Gopal, the husband of the dead woman Pramila Dixit and their son Shivam have accused the administration officials that they set the hut on fire. After this, a large number of villagers gathered on the spot and an uproar started.

On January 13, 2023, on the basis of this complaint, SDM Matha ordered the encroachment of the intruded land to be freed. Revenue Inspector Nandkishore and Lekhpal Ashok Singh Chauhan reached the spot with bulldozers to demolish Krishna Gopal's construction. Krishna Gopal, his son Shivam and other family members protested against this at the district headquarters in Meiti. Their demand was that some alternative arrangement should be made for their stay before the house is demolished.

Krishna Gopal Dixit has told that on last 15 January also his pucca construction was demolished. At that time, his entire family along with their cattle had reached DM Neha Jain's office at night. This land of ours is 150 years old. After the concrete construction was demolished, the Dixit family started living thereby building a hut, but a complaint was also made against that, against which the order was again issued. According to this order on Monday (February 13), The team of administrative officials and police reached the village and started the process of removing the encroachment.
