Hapur: UP Agriculture Minister Surya Pratap Shahi, who came to participate in the Foundation Day program of Tarachand Inter College in Hapur district of Uttar Pradesh, has made a big statement about the farmers' movement, saying that "the Government of India has sensitively spoken to the farmers. PM Modi has again said that farmers can discuss with the government whenever they want. The doors are always open for talk."

He said that it can be done on the basis of arguments, it can be on the basis of facts, nothing can be resolved on the basis of insistence. UP Agriculture Minister Surya Pratap Shahi said that "In democracy, dialogues are the solution to problems. I hope that the peasant leaders will carry forward the good faith."

Regarding the farmers' agitation going on in various borders of Delhi, Surya Pratap Shahi said that "when the government is ready to listen and resolve the issue, then why the need of protest. 11 times Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar spoke to farmers. PM Modi has appealed. I understand that we should end the agitation and negotiate with the government."
