Meerut: A shocking case is reported from Uttar Pradesh's Meerut district. Desi bombs were being dried on the roofs of the house in Mawana, Meerut. The UP Police has recovered firecrackers and explosives worth lakhs of rupees during the raid. Police has arrested 6 working women in this case. The accused Arif and his younger brother Rizwan are said to be absconding. At the same time, the police have recovered 20 sack Sutli bombs, ten box Anar bombs and explosive in large quantity.

After the explosion in a house in Meerut, the police has started a campaign against those making illegal firecrackers. Due to this, a number of indigenous cracker factories in Meerut were raided. In the same action, it was found that in a closed house, women had run the 'cottage industry' of making crackers. The police had received information that a cracker factory is illegally run in a closed house in Mawana area.

According to the information, this illegal factory was being operated by Arif and his younger brother Rizwan. Rizwan was cleverly running this entire business. He used to put women laborers in the factory every morning and lock the lock from outside. He would then return to the factory in the late evening and take them home. The supply of stolen bombs and firecrackers was being carried out at different places with great care.
