Between the havoc and lockdown of Corona, work has started in the direction of PM Narendra Modi to make the village self-sufficient on the lines of Gandhinomics. For this work, Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC), working under the Ministry of MSME, has planned. Currently, 200 charkhas and 50 looms will be given in 100 villages as a pilot project under the scheme. This will generate employment for at least 350 people in every village.

Recently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing the sarpanches, expressed his desire to make the village self-sufficient. In Mahatma Gandhi's Arthashastra (Gandhinomics), the emphasis is on making the village self-sufficient. In the post-Corona epidemic, emphasis is being laid on making every village, every district self-sufficient.
