On Wednesday, Bengal Chief Secretary Rajiv Sinha met Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar and informed him about the steps being taken for the corona. The Governor himself tweeted that the Chief Secretary of the state informed him in detail about the situation in Corona and the steps taken by the state government to deal with it.

Regarding the matter, the governor told that for about two and a half hours at Raj Bhavan, the Chief Secretary apprised him of the situation in detail on this issue. According to sources, the Governor also praised the steps being taken by the state government in the fight against Corona during this period.

The governor had asked the state government for a report about the steps being taken regarding Corona, after which the Chief Secretary met him and gave him detailed information. Rajpal Dhankar has also contributed 10 lakh rupees to fight Corona in West Bengal State Emergency Relief Fund set up by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. He has also contributed 5 lakhs in PM Cares.
