Bangalore: An alert has been sounded in several cities across the country following threats to blow up the Offices of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) with bombs. There has also been a threat to target the union office in Lucknow. The message was sent via WhatsApp on Monday (June 6, 2022) at 8 pm. In Uttar Pradesh, the police of Madiav police station in Lucknow, the capital, have registered an FIR and started investigating the case. The cyber cell is tracing the message senders.
A WhatsApp group called 'Al Ansari Imam Razi Un Mehndi' has sent messages in Kannada, English and Hindi threatening bomb blasts at two RSS offices in Lucknow and 4 in Karnataka. It is being told that an RSS worker joined the group through the invite link, where he saw the threat. Invite links of this terrorist group were shared in many groups. Meanwhile, an RSS worker opened it and joined it. When the said worker saw the threatening posts there, he informed an officer of Awadh province about it. After this, the top officials of the RSS got information about this and this information was shared with the higher officials of the police. The FIR was registered on the complaint of Ghosh Pramukh of Avadh province, Professor Neelkanth Tiwari. A case has been registered under section-507 of IPC and section-66 of IT Act.
The help of the Cyber ​​Crime Branch is being taken in this regard. Also, security has been beefed up outside the RSS offices. Along with Lucknow, the union office in Unnao has also received threats to blow up. The police also visited Saraswati Vidya Mandir in Aliganj Sector Q of Lucknow during the investigation. Inspector says that no organization has been threatened. Inspector-in-Charge Madianv Anil Kumar said that this act may have been done by some mischievous element to harass.
