A delegation of YSRCP MPs led by their parliamentary party leader V Vijayasai Reddy, MPs Margani Bharat, N Redappa, B V Satyavati, Sanjeev Kumar, Goddeti Madhavi and others submitted a memorandum to the Central Election Commission (CEC) on Thursday. Speaking to the media, Vijayasai said that the Chief Election Commissioner and members of the commission were handed over a memorandum to de-recognize the TDP for its "undemocratic methods".

He said and added evidence of unparliamentary language used by TDP leaders like Nara Lokesh, Devineni Uma Maheshwara Rao. , Bonda Umamaheswara Rao, Ayyana Patrudu, and K Pattabhi Rama were attached to it. Terming the TDP's tone as reprehensible, he said, "By using such obscene, filthy language against a constitutionally elected chief minister, he has committed an unpardonable crime. When this notice was brought to the notice of the members of the Election Commission, they were also surprised."

"Political parties cannot and cannot avoid using terrorist language. This is democracy. If it is allowed, what will happen to the country and democracy," he said in surprise. Vijayasai said the FIR registered by the police against such TDP leaders would be sent to the Election Commission for further action. He said that the delegation urged the Commission to fill up the three vacant posts of MLCs to be elected by the MLAs out of the 14 vacant seats at the earliest and its response was positive.
