Jaipur: On Friday, a clerk held for accepting a bribe of Rs 3,000 in Rajasthan's Alwar district.

According to an ACB official, “an accused Ganesh Chand Yogi, helper (revenue clerk) at the office of Assistant Engineer of Jaipur DISCOM in Alwar had demanded the bribe from a farmer to restore power supply”.

Police detained the accused while taking bribe at his office on the basis of complaint, and he was charged under Prevention of Corruption Act.
