3 accused arrested with leopard and deer skin in Mahasamund

Mahsamund: Three people looking for customers to sell skins after hunting for leopard and deer in Bar Nayapara sanctuary of Balodabazar district, bordering Pithora in Mahasamund district of Chhattisgarh have been arrested by the police. Skins and items like arrowheads used in hunting have been seized from the accused.

Disclosing in press briefing SP Prafulla Thakur and ASP Smt Megha Tembhurkar Sahu said that they were informed by the informer that some people are looking for customers to sell leopard and deer skins after hunting. The cyber cell team asked the informers to make the customer out of the forest along with the skins who sold the skins. As part of the plan, the informers approached the accused and called them to Jhagrendih Chowk in Sankara Jonk police station area for the deal. The team of cyber cell deployed to catch the accused caught them with the skins.

The three accused arrested are Sheikh Shahabuddin's father Sheikh Tharagaon, while Baliram Bariha father Chamra and Johan Bariha father Chaitaram Bariha Kumhari Raja are from Deori district of Baloda Bazar. Now the police are preparing to send them to jail.
