Hyderabad: A body was found on Mamidipalli Road in Paharisharif, Hyderabad, here on Wednesday morning, creating an atmosphere of panic in the area. According to police, burnt remains of a 35-year-old man were found. Passers-by found the burnt remains of a 35-year-old man on Mamidipalli Road in the morning, they informed the police. On information, police reached the spot and sent the body to Osmania General Hospital for post-mortem.

Police suspect that the man was murdered somewhere and he was burnt at Mamidipalli road to hide the identity of the victim. Pahari Sharif police have registered a case and started investigation. In another case of murder, a youth was stabbed to death by unidentified assailants in Hyderabad's Asifnagar on Tuesday night. The man has been identified as Shabad, an electrician and a resident of Mangalhat.

Similarly, a fire broke out at Gandhi Hospital in Secunderabad in the early hours of Wednesday today. The fire department came to know about the incident and brought the fire under control. The cause of the fire is being told as short-circuit in the power panel board. No casualties were reported in the incident as officials pulled out some patients from a nearby ward after smoke billowed from the floor. The incident caused a stir among the staff and patients. Police personnel also reached the spot and conducted investigation.
