New Delhi: The corona epidemic crisis will not end only  by running vaccination programme once. The CEO of the Serum Institute of India, Adar Puravala, who is involved in the vaccine making of corona vaccine, says that coronavirus medicine will be required for the next 20 years. He said it is time to accept bitter reality.

Talking to the media, Puravala has said that there is not a single instance in history when a vaccine has been discontinued. He said that for many years continuously, medicines have been going on for flu, pneumonia, measles and polio. None of them has been closed till today. He said that the same is the case with corona vaccine. Puravala said that even if 100% of the corona vaccine level is achieved, it will continue to be required in future. He said the vaccine is not a real solution. It boosts your immunity and protects you. This reduces the risk of sickness, but you cannot avoid it 100 per cent.

Now, if we talk that we will give vaccine to a part of the population, it will not be enough. Even after 100 per cent vaccination, this drug will be required in future. Giving the example of measles vaccine, Puravala said that it is 95 per cent effective and one of the most effective drugs. But even after that, this medicine is given to newborns.
