Hollywood's new animated movie, 'The Super Mario Bros. Movie, is creating a worldwide uproar. Released on April 5, this movie has also done tremendous business at the global box office. Seeing the collection of the movie, it seems that on weekends, people from all over the world started going to cinema halls to watch only Mario and Luigi.

Mario broke the earning records: The movie 'The Super Mario Bros. Movie' collected $204.6 million in the first 5 days of its release. It was seen in 4343 theatres in North America. And on the weekend, the movie earned $146.4 million. Talking about the international collection, its total has crossed $173 million. With this, the movie has earned $377 million, i.e., around Rs 3088 crore, at the global box office.

With its spectacular global collection, 'The Super Mario Bros. Movie' has broken the record for movies based on video games. Before which the movie made on the game named Passing Witchcraft had collected a collection of 210 million dollars, i.e., about 1720 crores. Also, 'Mario' has become the biggest opening-weekend animated movie ever. It has left behind the movie 'Frozen 2'. So far, 'Frozen 2' is being called the top-grossing animated movie. It did a business of $358 million, i.e., Rs 2933 crore, at the global box office.

Big deal for the animation studio as well—the global collection of the movie made it the biggest opening movie of the year 2023. Along with this, it has become the second animated film to have a big opening at the domestic box office in three days. The movie at number one is 'Finding Dory'. This is also a record for the animation studio Illumination. Illumination has made 13 big movies with minions. With them, the studio did business worth 5 billion dollars, i.e., about 40963 crores.
