Ahmedabad: In the third Test match of the series between India-England being played at Motera Stadium, Team India has strengthened its grip. The English team scored 112 in the first innings, with this, England scored their second lowest score on the Indian soil. Akshar Patel took six wickets in the day night test match, while Ashwin also trapped the England team in his spin.
India is only 13 runs behind England's score, they still have seven wickets left. When the first day's game ended, Rohit Sharma is present at the crease by scoring 57 runs and vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane one run. However, just before the day's play was going to end, captain Virat Kohli returned to the pavilion after scoring 27 runs. He was cleared by Jack Leach. On the other hand, India's left arm spinner Akshar Patel has achieved a big place in this test match, he has become the world's second wicket-taker in the day-night Test.
Akshar took six wickets for 38 runs in England's first innings on Wednesday in the third Test match being played between India and England at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Motera, along with the second spin bowler taking the most wickets in the day-night test. Before him comes the name of Devendra Bishu of West Indies, who took eight wickets for 49 runs against Pakistan in the Day-Night Test played in Dubai in 2016-17.
