New Delhi: A Group of Ministers headed by Union Home Minister Amit Shah may hold its second meeting on Tuesday to discuss the disinvestment of Air India. Sources have given information in this regard. Giving information, the source said that the preliminary information memorandum (PIM) on the sale process of Air India is likely to be discussed in this meeting.

The Group of Ministers has already given its approval to restart the process of selling the government's 100% stake in Air India and Air India Express. A source related to the matter has informed that the second meeting of the Group of Ministers constituted for the sale of Air India may be held on Tuesday. The initial information memorandum on the sales process may be discussed in this meeting.

The source has also stated that letters of interest will be invited within 45 days of the uploading of the initial information memorandum document. The last meeting of the Group of Ministers was held in September last year. Apart from Shah, the meeting was attended by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Union Commerce and Railways Minister Piyush Goyal and Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri.
