Army Chief Claims POK and Aksai China is Integral Part of India, Govt has to make decision to achieve it

New Delhi: On the occasion of Kargil Victory Day, Army Chief General Bipin Rawat has given a stern reply to Pakistan. Bipin Rawat said that the whole of Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of India. On the other hand, political leadership has to decide on control of the PoK, Aksai.

Army Chief General Bipin Rawat paid homage to the martyrs at the Kargil War Memorial in Dras on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Kargil War.

Bipin Rawat has said that the political leadership of the country has to determine how to get it back on the part of PoK and Aksai China which is not under our control. Whether it is to take a diplomatic route or something else, it is for the government to determine," Bipin Rawat reacted to the youth of Kashmir becoming terrorists. "Guns and youth in Kashmir cannot walk together. Whoever raises a gun against the army in Kashmir will go to the grave and his gun will come into our hands. However, this is not the only solution. It is our endeavour to move the youth to employment. Follow the path to your golden future," he said.

Army Chief General Bipin Rawat said, "We are considering modernizing our inventory. Our entire focus is on artillery weapon systems. By 2020 we'll get the Howitzer, the K-9 Thunderbolt is now being built in the country and two Bofors-like guns are being manufactured locally," he said.
