Lucknow: In Fatehpur district of Uttar Pradesh, a young man was being forced to convert his religion by luring him with a job and lakhs of rupees. When he did not agree, he was taken hostage. The youth somehow escaped from the clutches of the accused and gave a complaint to the police. Police has registered a case against 7 people including Maulvi in ​​the matter, out of which three people have been arrested. The investigation of the case is still on.

According to the complaint of Sudhanshu Chauhan, a resident of Banaras, he had talked about the job with Armaan Ali, a resident of Ghazipur. Armaan called her to Fatehpur. When he reached Fatehpur, he was taken to a secluded place. There, one thousand rupees was taken from him in the name of registration. After some time, he was asked to get 10 thousand rupees from his family members so that his accommodation and food could be arranged.

Sudhanshu told that on Armaan's speaking, he got money from his family. On June 17, some people took him to the madrasa along with 20 Hindu and 30-40 Muslim boys. There was talk of connecting all the people with some organization. It was told that by joining the organization, those people can earn from one to one and a half lakh rupees per month. On June 19, again 50 Hindus and 100 Muslims took him to the mosque along with the boys. There was pressure to become a Muslim. Also asked to promote it.

Victim Sudhanshu further told that they were luring him to give lakhs of rupees and house for doing so. When he refused to do so, they took him hostage. A cleric was called there and started talking about forcibly converting him. The victim somehow escaped from there after saving his life and went straight to the police station. There he told the whole thing to the police. According to Superintendent of Police (SP) Rajesh Kumar Singh, after the complaint, the police started investigation and arrested three people in the case. Whereas, a case has been registered against a total of 7 people. The investigation of the case is still on.
