New Delhi: The Special Cell and Counter Intelligence Unit of Delhi Police has busted a big gang smuggling cocaine and drugs in India. After a search operation was conducted in a hotel room in Delhi, 1850 grams of high quality cocaine, which is worth about Rs 10 crore in the market, has been recovered. This cocaine was cleverly and professionally packed in women's purses, deodorant containers etc., which have been recovered by the police.

The foreign woman, who possessed cocaine, was also arrested by the police and after presenting her in the court, the police took her remand. In fact, on February 14, the team got information about illegal activities of a foreign woman in Delhi. Acting on that input, the Special Cell and Counter Intelligence Unit of Delhi Police raided a hotel in Karol Bagh area. Where foreign woman Erna Gangadin was living since February 11.

During interrogation, the accused woman confessed that she was traveling with the banned substance on the instructions of her handlers. The investigation revealed that the seized cocaine was brought here from the South American country of Mexico and the gang associated there is involved in this business. It has also been found in the investigation that many African countries are transshipment partners in this.

Nadeem, the main accused in the Azamgarh poisonous liquor scandal, was caught after the encounter, 7 people had lost their lives.
