Wherever she goes, Billie Eilish continues to make history. Eilish's music has swept the world by storm, winning Grammy Awards and charting on the Billboard chart, and she now has another feather in her cap. The artist will perform as a single headliner at the UK's renowned Glastonbury Festival in 2022, according to reports. What's even more incredible is that Eilish, at the age of 19, will be the event's youngest-ever headliner.

The big announcement was posted on the Glastonbury Festival Instagram account, which confirmed the news. The announcement read, "We are very excited to confirm that @billieeilish will headline the Pyramid Stage on the Friday night at Glastonbury 2022, to become the Festival's youngest ever solo headliner. This will be her first UK festival headline performance."

As the music festival returns after an almost two-year hiatus due to the epidemic, it will be a historic performance. Eilish will also be the first female headliner at the festival since Adele performed in 2016.

Emily Eavis, the festival's organiser, also expressed her delight at Eilish being the event's only headliner, writing on Instagram, "We're ecstatic to share the news that @billieeilish will headline the Pyramid on Friday at next year's Glastonbury Festival. This feels like the ideal way to welcome us back, and I can't wait!"
Eilish recently performed at the Austin City Limits festival in Texas, where she supported abortion rights and opposed the new Texas abortion legislation. While singing on stage, the singer issued a message to the audience saying, "Bans off our bodies."
