Delhi Assembly Election: BJP President JP Nadda appeals, 'First voting, then refreshment'

New Delhi: Polling has started at 8 pm today in the country's capital Delhi. Before voting, BJP National President JP Nadda has tweeted and appealed to voters to vote in maximum numbers. Nadda has said in his tweet that, I appeal to all the voters of Delhi to participate in the mahaparv of democracy by voting in large numbers.

He further wrote that 'your one vote is important for the unity, integrity and overall development of Delhi. Your vote will write the golden future of your Delhi. "First voting, then refreshments" Jai Hind. Let us know that voting is going on today for 70 seats of Delhi Assembly. Today 1.47 crore voters of Delhi will use their franchise to elect a new government.

Tight arrangements have been made for peaceful voting in the country's capital. More than 75 thousand armed personnel of paramilitary force including Delhi Police, Home Guards have been deployed on the scene. A very important control room has been set up on the first floor of the State Election Headquarters (Kashmiri Gate) complex, so that the whole of Delhi will be monitored. Let us tell you that in the 2015 assembly elections, the Aam Aadmi Party got 67 seats while the BJP got only 3 seats. Congress account was also not open.
