Lucknow: The illegal shop of former MLA Subhash Yadav, who was obstructing the Rajajipuram clover leaf in Lucknow, was razed to the ground with a bulldozer on Tuesday. The liquor vend was running in the shop for many years. Teams of PWD, Municipal Corporation and Bridge Corporation launched a campaign against encroachment at 1 pm.

Two shops belonging to former MLA Subhash Yadav were present near Rani Lakshmibai Hospital in Rajajipuram. On which the liquor contract was operating in the name of Pushpa Jaiswal, a resident of Thakurganj. PWD Executive Engineer Manish Verma said that the shop was built on government land. Notices were also sent several times for this. Even after this, the illegal construction was not removed. This was causing a lot of problems in making clover leaves. After this, the liquor shop was demolished on Tuesday on the order of the court.

The Bridge Corporation is constructing clover leaf after the ROB at rail level crossing number 218A of Alambagh-Chowk road crosses the railway crossing towards Rajajipuram. This will relieve motorists going to Rajajipuram, Alamnagar and Rani Lakshmibai Hospital from the jam. Also, citizens going towards Talkatora Chowk will not have to face jams near Hanuman Temple.
