Lucknow: A woman has filed a case against her husband alleging love jihad in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. The woman has accused her husband of pressuring her to change religion, forcibly circumcision of children. The woman alleges that when she resisted pressure from her husband, the husband locked her in the house, including children, and set her on fire from outside. She somehow survived.

The woman reported that she had a love marriage with a man named Rajiv at the Arya Samaj Temple on February 13, 2009. However, after the marriage, Rajiv's real name is Mohammad Afzal Siddiqui. The victim claims that Afzal had married her as an orphan. According to the woman, she contacted the police several times, but there was no hearing. She also has two children.

The woman alleged that Afzal was constantly pressuring her to accept Islam and build relationships with others. When she protested, her two children were forced to be circumcised. In the absence of this, the accused Afzal brutally beaten her and set fire to the house. At present, the police have registered a case in the relevant sections and started the investigation.
