Corona wreaks havoc in Tajagri,105 new cases reported

Agra: Corona is wreaking havoc in Agra. 105 new patients were found on Saturday. The total number of infections has crossed 4700 mark. Earlier on Friday, 106 and 118 patients were reported on Thursday. The new patients also have 2 employees of district magistrate accommodation.

It has been revealed that a cook and letter carrier have been found infected in the residential area at MG Road in District collector Prabhu N Singh. The report of the Special Task Officer was infected 3 days ago. After which all the employees in the camp office and residential complex have been re-tested rapid antigens on Saturday.  The district magistrate said that 2 employees including cook have been found infected with covid-19. The report of 57 people has been found to be negative. No symptoms have come to the fore. The report of other personnel sitting in the OSD room has also been found to be negative. There is a complete ban on the movement of people in the premises.

According to the district magistrate, 4706 people have been affected by the infection in the district so far. In which 3727 patients have been cured. 862 patients are under treatment. Of these, 602 patients are in home isolation. On Saturday, health ministry clerk Gyaneshwar Sharma passed away in the Municipal corporation. He was a corona patient. However, his death has not yet been added to the deceased figure by the administration. More than 1.64 lakh patients have been tested in the district till Saturday. The rate of health of Covid-19 patients is 79.20 per cent, while two to three patients are being killed per 100 patients. The district magistrate said that all people in urban areas are required to wear masks to prevent infection.
