Mumbai: Corona is growing at a very fast pace in Maharashtra. Corona cases are increasing here every day. Maharashtra Resident Doctors Association President Ganesh Solunke reported that a total of 305 doctors have been found infected with corona in Maharashtra including JJ Hospital in the last three days. It may be recalled that Maharashtra currently has the highest number of corona cases in India.

In 24 hours, 26,538 new corona cases have been found in Maharashtra. 8 people have also died of corona due to this. However, 5,331 patients have also recovered from the corona. At present, the number of active patients in Maharashtra has increased to 87,505. Coming to the Omicron variant, a total of 797 cases of omicron have been registered in Maharashtra. 330 people have recovered from omicron. Maharashtra has the highest number of corona cases registered in Mumbai. A total of 15,166 patients have been found to be infected with corona in the last 24 hours. Three people have died in a day from corona here. In addition, the number of active patients has increased to 61,923.

It has been decided to close physical classes in universities and colleges in Maharashtra till February 15. However, due to this, online classes will continue. In addition, an order has been issued to close schools in Nagpur from today from class I to VIII. According to Nitin Raut, minister in the Maharashtra government, all schools up to the 8th standard will remain closed till January 31, 2022, due to coronavirus.
