Lucknow: A case of cow being slaughtered after entering a field from Pilibhit in Uttar Pradesh has come to light. Police have arrested the accused youth on Wednesday (June 22, 2022). The accused has been identified as Manpreet Singh alias Manna. He is accused of killing a javelin cow. The case was reported from village Chakshivpuri under Pilibhit. The complainant, Baburam Nee, is a watchman at Dioria Kala police station.
In his complaint, he has said, "The farm of Dharampal of our village has been taken over by sardar Joginder Singh alias Bittu of the village itself. Sugarcane is sown in this field. On June 20, a black cow grazed the grass and went to Dharampal's farm. Meanwhile, Joginder Singh's son Manpreet Singh stabbed the cow in the stomach. According to the complaint, the cow's intestine came out of the spear and hung. The cow was later found dead in west bagh of the village. On the complaint of watchman Baburam, police have registered an FIR against Manpreet under Section 11 of prevention of cruelty to animals Act along with Section 3/8 of the Prevention of Cow Slaughter Act Uttar Pradesh. He was arrested and sent to jail.
Let us know that in the past days, this kind of animal cruelty was also reported from Rajasthan. In Jaipur, a farmer had fired 22 bullets from an air gun at a dog, which took his life. He was on fire by the dog's repeated entry into the field. An FIR was lodged against the farmer at Tunga police station.
