Rohini: A case of molestation of a Dalit girl by a doctor has been heard inside mohalla clinic in Kanjhawala area of Rohini district. The 12-year-old had gone to the clinic on Wednesday to get evening medicines. When the family came to know about it on Thursday, people gathered and rushed to mohalla clinic. There, there was a lot of commotion. After which the information of the case was conveyed to the police. Police who reached the spot have taken the accused Dr. Dakshit Dahiya into custody after investigation. The child has been counselled. District Deputy Commissioner of Police Pranab Tayal has said that the girl has been molested. A case has been registered under pocso and molestation sections. Further action is underway in the case.
Where it has been learnt that the innocent family is from Shiv Vihar area at Karala in Kanjhawala. It has parents and other members in its family. His father distributes newspapers. The girl's health had deteriorated on Wednesday. The mother alone sent her to a nearby mohalla clinic to take medicine. The accused doctor posted there found the innocent alone and did wrong to him.
After the incident, accused asked no one to tell anyone. Masoom told his mother the whole thing on Thursday morning. People in the vicinity came to know about the incident after the family came to know about it. After which the locals also cordoned off the mohalla clinic. The police who rushed to the spot after receiving the information explained to the people. A case under pocso and molestation sections has been registered at Kanjhawala police station after counselling the girl.
