Patna: The number of road accidents and death due to accidents is increasing continuously in Bihar. On the NH near Sukunpur in Didarganj police station area, a truck laden with iron lost its control and collided with the side shop. In this accident, a wooden shop (Gumti) on the side of the road has been completely broken. One villager died in the accident and four others were injured. The injured have been taken to the hospital.

According to the same news, due to heavy fog in the morning, the truck driver could not control the truck. At the same time, in this accident, a villager died on the spot. Four other villagers were also injured along with the deceased Mukesh Singh. The injured have been immediately taken to the hospital. As soon as the information about the accident was received, the administration reached the spot where it had to face the displeasure of the people. Residents had blocked the road demanding compensation to the kin of the deceased and injured, but after receiving assurances from the administration, the residents stopped the protest.

At the same time, the administration also explained the reason for the road accident and said that due to dense fog, the truck was uncontrollable and collided with the shop. According to a report, there is a huge difference in the ratio of accidents and deaths in Bihar state as compared to other states. Even after reducing the road accidents, the death toll in Bihar is high. The main reasons cited in the report are lack of health arrangements, lack of standardized roads. Due to these reasons 72 percent of people die after accidents in Bihar.
