The second highest fourth and fifth wicket partnership and the 550 crossing landmark was all that Indore cricket fans could think of in the maiden Test Match of Indore’s Holkar Stadium. Ajinkya Rahane along with the skipper Virat kohli did every effort to blow the Kiwi’s off their mind.

The team scored a massive total of 557 with the loss of 5 wickets including, Gambhir who played aggressively, R. Sharma who scored his third half century of the series, Pujara, Kohli and Rahane.

Virat kohli and Rahane had a combined score of 365 run helped India to get a very firm and decorating score on the board, with the help of Virat Kohli, the Indian Skipper, who scored his second double century concluding to a score of 211 runs. On the other hand Rahane’s 188 score led him to the nervous point of 200 and thereby he fell without scoring his Maiden Double test Century.

At the end, the team was successful to put the score of 557 in front of New Zealand for which, the trail has began, New Zealand Started their inning and by the end of the 2nd day of the final test the Kiwi’s score was 28/0. With a trail of 530, the New Zealander will start the 3rd match day.
