New Delhi: A case of rape of a class 10 student in the Jyoti Nagar area of the country's capital has come to light. It is alleged that a 30-year-old man named Vikas, who lives in the neighbourhood, reached the victim's terrace in an inebriated state and committed the crime of rape. Police have registered a case on the complaint of the victim's family and arrested the accused. 

In fact, the 15-year-old minor lives with her family in the Jyoti Nagar area and studies in Class 10. On Friday night, the victim's entire family had gone to attend a wedding ceremony. During this time, the girl was alone in the house, at 9:00 p.m., the victim had gone to the roof of her house for a walk, in the meantime, a young man living in the neighbourhood came to her terrace.

The youth was drunk and committed a heinous rape on the victim. When the girl made a noise, the accused also threatened to kill her and fled from the spot. After the incident, the victim told the whole thing to her family members, after which the police conducted a medical test and arrested the accused. The police will now produce the accused in court and take further action.
