Saharanpur: Muslim preacher Zakir Naik has once again tried to provoke a particular community by making controversial comments on India's internal issues. But the

 

condemned Zakir Naik directed not to spoil the atmosphere. Zakir Naik recently said in a YouTube video that "In India, Hindus are even less than 60 percent, while the rest are Muslims. All Muslims should come together and make their leaders and party victorious".

In the video, Zakir Naik requested the Muslims of India to unite under a single political party and suggested that if they are unable to perform their daily rituals then they should do ‘Hijrat’ (stay). On which Mufti Asad Kasami, vice-president of the Ulema of Deoband and 'Tanjim Ittihad Ulema-e-Hind', said, "Don't talk of spoiling the atmosphere, Zakir Naik. India is a secular country. People of every religion live here." 

Mufti Asad Qasmi exhorted Zakir Naik to say that he is an Islamic scholar, that he should only talk such things which produce mutual brotherhood. He should not make any statement that spoils the atmosphere. India is a secular country and a person of every religion lives here with love".
