Pune: A man raped a 12-year-old girl in a public toilet in Maharashtra. The police reported this on Saturday. The incident took place near The Pune Railway Station. According to the news, when the victim went to defecate, the culprit also went there after her and made the child a victim of lust. When the child made a noise, her uncle immediately arrived. On seeing the uncle, the criminal fled from there.
The victim's family lodged a complaint with the police. Subsequently, the police registered a case under the POCSO Act and launched a manhunt for the culprit. Police said a culprit is a middle-aged man and the victim's family knows him.
Earlier, a similar incident was reported in the Chhatarpur district of Madhya Pradesh. A 10-year-old girl was raped near the school. The student of class 5 was in the school. When she went out in the open to defecate, a 50-year-old man raped her. Police arrested the culprit as soon as they received the complaint.
