Kolkata: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is investigating the alleged scam in the recruitment of school teachers in West Bengal. New revelations are being made every day in this case. Now the ED investigation has revealed the name of more than 6 of Partha Chatterjee's female friends. On the lines of Arpita, former minister Partha Chatterjee used to give expensive gifts, carts, flats and cash to every one of his female friends. Now all the women close to Partha have come under the target of ED.

According to information, apart from West Bengal, Parth's female friends had also bought a property in Bangladesh. The investigating agency officials are now investigating all these properties. All women's properties can also be sealed if needed. It is worth mentioning that ED is also very active about the bank account of Partha Chatterjee and Arpita Mukherjee. During the raid, the investigating agency found the passbook of Bandhan Bank and the chequebook of Bandhan Bank. Following this, two senior officials of Bandhan Bank have been summoned by the ED today and asked to come to the office, where both the officers have reached the ED office and are being questioned about the transactions of Partha and Arpita from their bank accounts and cheque books.

Let us know that the ED had raided a flat attached to Arpita Mukherjee in the Chinar Park area of the city late on Thursday evening. The probe agency raided the flat a day after it recovered about Rs 28 crore in cash from one of Mukherjee's flats. The central agency has already arrested Mukherjee in connection with the probe into the alleged school recruitment scam. Last week, the ED recovered more than Rs 21 crore in cash from another flat in the city.
