Ranchi: A girl living in the Chutia police station area of Jharkhand's capital Ranchi has been abused. The accused took the girl to a hotel in Bariatu and forced her to fill the vermilion in her head and get married. The accused youth also sexually abused the girl after putting vermilion in the head. The young man then left the hotel, asking her to be taken home after her elder brother's wedding when she told her to go home.
The accused youth has been identified as Bantu alias Vishwajit Singh. He is a resident of Basant Colony, an old police line in Ara district of Bihar. The girl has lodged an FIR with the Mahila police station alleging sexual abuse against the accused. In the FIR registered, the victim said that on August 24, the accused took her to a hotel in Bariatu after becoming friends on social media. There in the room, he forcefully put vermilion in her head.
According to the girl, the accused had also assured a court marriage. Assuring marriage, he had forced sex with her on August 24 and August 25. He then went to his house. After going home, the accused started running away from the girl, due to which the girl got fed up and lodged an FIR. The police are looking for the accused.
