Lucknow: A case of kidnapping and gang-raping of a teenager has come to light in Ajnar area of Mahoba district in Uttar Pradesh. Police are looking for four suspected accused in this case. Mahoba Additional Superintendent of Police RK Gautam has informed on Friday that in Mangrol Kalan village, miscreants kidnapped a 16-year-old Scheduled Caste girl from her house on the strength of weapons late last night. The miscreants took him in the car and fled.
He has told that after giving information about this incident to the police and relatives, the family members searched for the teenager all night. The kidnapped girl was found unconscious on the bank of the river near the village in the morning. On getting information about this incident, the police reached the spot and recovered the victim. Gautam told that the police immediately took the girl to the Community Health Center in Belatal for treatment. Where upon regaining consciousness, the victim narrated the whole ordeal. In the statements given to the police, it has come to light that the miscreants had given some intoxicant to the girl and made her unconscious and raped her.
On the complaint of the victim's father, the police started investigation by registering a kidnapping case against Lukka and three others from the village itself. The teenager has been sent to Mahoba District Hospital in police custody for a medical test. In case of rape in the medical examination, instructions have been given to make necessary changes in the trial and take strictest action against the accused.
