Gwalior: The Gwalior bench of the Madhya Pradesh High Court has recently passed a shocking order. In fact, in its judgment, the court acquitted the district court of the death penalty and the accused of murdering an innocent after the rape. At the same time, criminal cases have been ordered against five persons including TI, ASI of the then Vidisha district in the case of submission of fake evidence and improper collection of evidence against the accused in the case.

As per the information received, Special Sessions Court Vidisha had on 7th March 2020 sentenced Ravi alias Toli Malviya, accused on the basis of circumstantial evidence, to life imprisonment in connection with the murder and rape case. The same accused has been in jail since November 6, 2015. Ravi also challenged the death sentence in the high court to confirm the death sentence. Meanwhile, defending on behalf of Ravi, advocate Padma Singh argued that "the police have made fake evidence. Police officials searched for up to 500 meters when the body was found. Nothing was found at that time.''

The lawyer further said, "On October 29, 2015, some coins and clothes were found lying on the public road. These clothes have been found earlier and the accused is being arrested later. DNA tests should report the death, it did not happen, only samples of the accused were added. 2 mg of blood should be taken for the DNA test, but police extracted 6 mg of blood. The more blood the police had drawn. He's put on clothes later. Witnesses also gave fake testimony. The sentence has been awarded on a situational basis.'' After hearing all this, the court acquitted the accused in view of all the circumstances.
