Hollywood actor Leonardo DiCaprio has expressed concern when several rivers in India are on the verge of extinction and has supported the 'Kaveri Calling' campaign being run here. Oscar Award winner DiCaprio recently said in a message on his Facebook page- 'Indian rivers are in grave danger, many of them are becoming extinct. Sadguru and Isha participate in the fight for the conservation of the Cauvery River.

In a release on Monday, this foundation said that their post was widely shared and people made many comments on it. Last year, DiCaprio's Foundation invited Sadguru for its 'Earth Sense' program.

For your information, Sadguru Jaggi Vasudev had announced to start 'Kaveri Calling' in July. The campaign aims to revitalize the dried-up river which is the source of livelihood, irrigation and drinking water for 8.4 crore people. There will be a revival of life rather the future of the farmers of the area will get a new way.
