Morena: In a tragic incident suspected to be an honor killing, a father from Madhya Pradesh's Morena has admitted to murdering his daughter and her lover. The chilling revelation came to light when the man, named Rajpal, filed a missing complaint for his daughter on June 3. During the subsequent police interrogation, Rajpal confessed to dumping their lifeless bodies into the depths of the Chambal river.

Authorities from Ambah have formed a special team to locate the remains of the two victims. The search operation is centered around the Holapura Ghat of the Chambal River, where it is believed that the bodies were disposed of.

The identity of the victims has been revealed as Shivani, the daughter, and her boyfriend, Chhotu Tomar. Shivani was reported missing by her father, who approached the Ambah police station to report the disappearance. Shortly after, on June 4, Tomar's family also filed a complaint regarding his sudden absence.

A relative of Chhotu Tomar shared a disturbing account, claiming that Shivani's family members had kidnapped Chhotu while he was on his way home. Tragically, both victims were allegedly killed by the girl's family. After the heinous act, the perpetrators abandoned their residence and returned after a five-day absence.

As suspicions of foul play grew, the police initiated an investigation into the disappearance of Shivani and Chhotu. Subsequently, crucial information led them to believe that the two had been victims of a horrendous crime. Consequently, Shivani's father, called in for questioning, made a shocking admission, confessing to the murder of his own daughter and her boyfriend.

The search operation for the missing bodies commenced on Sunday, while the investigation into this chilling case remains ongoing.
