Ranchi: A married woman and her boyfriend were stripped and videoed by villagers in a village under Baratalli Panchayat in the Mufassil police station area of the Dumka district of Jharkhand. Police have been acting since the incident and police have now nabbed four accused, including the village pradhan, in the same case a case has been registered against 50 to 60 unidentified persons.

The shameful incident took place on Monday evening in Mayurnacha village under Bartalli Panchayat in the Gando area of the Mufassil police station area of the Dumka district. People also took down a video of the love birds turning naked and made it viral on social media after which the victims reached Muffasil police station late on Monday night and complained. The married woman and her boyfriend were reportedly stripped and paraded for about a km by the mob.

According to the information, both do daily wages. The lover belongs to the same village near the woman. The lover had come to meet the woman after which the villagers caught them and took them hostage and stripped them and drove them all over the village. The entire department was shaken as soon as the incident was reported to the police. Police have since taken action and arrested four persons and registered a case against 50 to 60 unidentified persons.
