New Delhi: India and Myanmar have announced to increase mutual cooperation on joint development of the Corona vaccine. For this, the first phase talks have been held earlier this week. Officials of both countries have discussed online the possibility of cooperation in the development of the corona vaccine. In which the issue of joint production, distribution and supply has been discussed.
On the visit to Myanmar, Foreign Secretary Harsh Shringla had indicated that India should give priority to Myanmar in the vaccine partnership. At this, the Ambassador of Myanmar said on cooperation against the Corona epidemic, "We have informed the Indian side that Myanmar will be involved in the development of the vaccine." Amidst the corona epidemic, India is trying to reach the countries of South Asia. Myanmar is also not untouched by that. India has provided Covid assistance worth more than one million US dollars to Myanmar.
Healthy Volunteers of Myanmar have registered in programs run by Indian institutions related to Corona. India says that the vaccine will be used to help the whole of humanity. During the pandemic, the central government has sent anti-Corona medicines to about 150 countries.
