IndiGo to fly between Kadapa, Five more cities from March 27

New Delhi: Budget carrier IndiGo announced on Thursday that flights between Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh, and five towns in southern India will begin on March 27. "The airline will launch new exclusive flights between Kadapa and Chennai, Kadapa and Vijayawada, Kadapa and Bangalore, Kadapa and Vishakhapatnam, and Kadapa and Hyderabad," the airline said in a statement.

It is to be noted, Kadapa will be the 73rd city in India to be served by IndiGo flights. While flights between Kadapa and Chennai, Kadapa and Vijayawada, and Kadapa and Hyderabad will commence on March 27, services between Kadapa and Bangalore and Kadapa and Vishakhapatnam will begin on March 29.

Kadapa is a city in the southern part of Andhra Pradesh, India. It is located in the Rayalaseema region, and is the district headquarters of YSR Kadapa district. As of the 2011 Census of India, the city had a population of 344,893. It is located 8 kilometres south of the Penna River
