In June, John Krasinski will return for one final mission in the fourth and final season of the Prime Video web series Jack Ryan. Based on Tom Clancy's characters, Jack is a former Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) analyst and army soldier who is asked by the US president to assist in assessing the latest threat to the country. 

The trailer depicts a political person being assassinated on foreign grounds, with clues that the CIA may be involved. This time, Jack has been promoted to the position of CIA Acting Deputy Director. He has to find some old acquaintances and loyal colleagues within the CIA in order to root out corruption. Everything points to a massive scheme involving a drug cartel and a terrorist cell.

Michael Pea joins the cast as Domingo "Ding" Chavez for the final season, bringing his criminal skills to the assignment with Jack and Ryan. Wendell Pierce, Betty Gabriel's Elizabeth Wright, who joined the ensemble in season 3, and Michael Kelly, who plays Venezuela station head Mike November, are all returning. Abbie Cornish, who played Jack's love interest in season one, returns as Dr. Cathy Mueller in this fourth season.

The fourth season of Jack Ryan will air on June 30, 2023, with six action-packed episodes. Prime Video will release two episodes at a time till July 14. John is the fifth actor to play this character in a major film, following Alec Baldwin, Harrison Ford, Ben Affleck, and Chris Pine.
