Srinagar: 8 grenades and 1 pistol have been recovered at Karnah in Kupwara district of The Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. After which two suspected terrorists have been taken into custody. A Jammu and Kashmir police official said police have found eight grenades and a pistol from a village near the Line of Control (LoC) in Karnah last night.

He said, two suspected terrorists have been taken into custody in the Haridal Karanah area of Kupwara after receiving grenades and pistols. Meanwhile, a senior police officer confirmed the discovery of grenades, pistols and the detention of two people. He said further investigation into the case is underway. Earlier, three separate terror attacks were carried out in Jammu and Kashmir within 90 minutes on Tuesday evening. In which three civilians lost their lives.

The first attack was on a well-known pharmacy businessman. A street vendor was then shot dead by terrorists at Madin Sahib in Srinagar. The third attack took place in the Bandipora district. Here, terrorists shot dead an ordinary citizen. The concerned areas have been cordoned off and search operations are going on in these areas.
