In Jon Bon Jovi's opinion, Jake Bongiovi's engagement to Millie Bobby Brown did not depend on his age. Last month, the couple announced their news.

In response to criticism of his son Jake Bongiovi's engagement to Millie Bobby Brown, Jon Bon Jovi has spoken. The Stranger Things actress, 19, revealed that her partner of three years, Bongiovi, 20, proposed last month. Brown said, "I've loved you for three summers now, honey, I want 'em all," along with a picture of them snuggling while announcing their wonderful news.

On April 11, Millie posted a black and white photo of her and Jake to Instagram with the remark, "I've loved you three summers now, honey, I want 'em all." She was wearing a ring on her left hand. Jake included two additional images of the couple along with the word "Forever."

However, not everyone approved of the couple's marriage. The couple was 'too young', in the opinion of several viewers, to make their entrance down the aisle. Since he met his own wife Dorothea when he was still in high school, Bongiovi's singing legend father has now responded to criticism of his son's proposal, claiming he doesn't believe age should be a factor.
