Pune: A journalist has been arrested by the police in Pune, Maharashtra. He is accused of murdering his girlfriend. Police are taking further action in the matter. A 30-year-old journalist had killed a 28-year-old girlfriend and dumped the body in a deserted area. According to the police, in the month of August, the criminal had lodged a missing complaint about the woman journalist. Since then the police was probing the matter. It was found in the investigation that after killing the girl and disposing of the body, the criminal himself came to the police and he had lodged a missing complaint.
During the interrogation of the police, it came to light that the deceased girl was demanding a plate and jewelery from her father in the name of the criminal. There was a fight between the two about this matter. It is alleged that on the day of the incident i.e. on August 3, the criminal kidnapped the girlfriend from her house and took her near the Bhor river, where she killed the girl.
According to the Bhosari police station, on August 3, the criminal forcibly took the girlfriend with him. Then reached the Bhor area of ​​the district. There he first killed his girlfriend. Then the dead body was thrown into the forest near the Bhor river. Later he came to the police station and filed a case of a missing girlfriend.
