Surat: In a disturbing incident reminiscent of past communal tensions, Bhavnagar, Gujarat, witnessed a brutal attack on a Hindu tailor, Rajendrabhai Chauhan. Allegedly assaulted by individuals identified as Sahil, Shaukat, and Munna, Chauhan sustained severe head injuries and was hospitalized. He claims the attack was due to his recitation of Hanuman Chalisa.

The assault occurred on February 1 in Kumbharwada, triggering outrage. Chauhan filed a complaint accusing Sahil Padarshi and Shaukat Mankad of verbal abuse and physical assault. Chauhan believes it was retaliation for his prior complaint against Munna Bilal Padarshi.
