New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday dedicated the new Parliament building to the nation. After performing religious rituals according to Vedic rituals, the subordinate saints handed over to PM Modi the symbol of righteousness and justice, Sengol, which has been installed in the new Parliament building. During this, PM Modi also gave his first address from the new Parliament building. Addressing the new Parliament building, PM Modi said that this building is equipped with modern facilities and latest equipment. It has employed more than 60,000 workers. We have also built a digital gallery to honour their hard work.

During this, PM Modi also presented a report card of his nine-year tenure. He said that if an expert assesses the last nine years, then these 9 years have been of reconstruction in India. The poor are of welfare. Today we are proud of the construction of the new Parliament building. I am also satisfied with the construction of 4 crore houses for the poor in 9 years. Today, as we hold our heads high at the sight of this magnificent building, I am also satisfied with the 11 crore toilets built in the last nine years, which have protected the dignity of women and raised their heads high.

Today, when we are talking about facilities, in the last 9 years, more than 4 lakh km of roads have been built to connect villages. Today we are happy to see an eco-friendly building, we have constructed more than 50 thousand Amrit Sarovars to save every drop of water. Today, when we are celebrating that we have built a new Parliament building, we have also built more than 30 thousand new panchayat buildings in the country. This means that from Panchayat Bhawan to Parliament House, our loyalty is the same. Our motivation is the same. Development of the country, development of the countrymen.
