Begusarai: A sensational incident of love jihad has come in Begusarai, Bihar. A man from a particular community befriended a Hindu woman on Facebook. Then while discussing on the phone, the two fell in love and got married. Now he left her when she is pregnant and is also threatening to kill her if she complains. On the other hand, the girl's family is also not supporting the girl. They say as you married on your own will, then suffer. The pregnant victim has made rounds of the women's police station from Begusarai to Samastipur for two months, but neither a case has been registered nor any action has been taken.

On Thursday, the victim reached SP Yogendra Kumar's Janata Darbar. Thereafter, the SP took cognizance of the whole matter from the victim. In this case, the woman police station president has been called and instructed to investigate the matter. Chandni Kumari, a resident of the Samastipur district, worked in a mall in Begusarai. Chandni Kumari alleged that in January 2020, she befriended Mohammad Aftab Alam of Saharsa district through Facebook. Fell in love while discussing. Aftab started having a continuous physical relationship on the pretext of marriage. She also had several miscarriages.

On the same pressure, in January this year, they got married in the Kali temple of Begusarai. They started living as husband and wife in a rented house in Begusarai. In between, Aftab used to go to live in his village too. This time, when Aftab was pressured to take him to his in-laws' house when he arrived, he fled. Chandni alleges that she is 2 months pregnant. Aftab's family continued to threaten to get an abortion done and leave her. Chandni reached the women's police station in Begusarai to complain about this. But the women's police station sent it to Samastipur women's police station. When the woman reached the Samastipur police station, she was returned to Begusarai from there. The victim said that now even her parents are not ready to support her. She is wandering for justice, but no one is supporting her. Begusarai SP Yogendra Kumar said, "Today a complaint was made by a young woman in the Janata Darbar. The woman police station has been instructed in this incident. The woman alleged that he befriended her through social media and then got married on the pretext. She has now been left when she is pregnant. The women's police station is investigating the case. Thereafter, action will be taken."
